The Last Supper
The Last Supper is nearly or as famous as the Mona Lisa because it resembles so much and it has a rich and deep meaning. Leonardo wanted to show and capture the moment right after Jesus told his 12 Disciples that one of them will betray him and it shows the raw emotion of disbelief on all of their faces and you can see what Leonardo was trying to show. He started to work on The Last Supper in 1495 and it is believed that he finished it around 1498 although that is not certain. It was no surprise that it took him about 3 years to complete because this is a common theme in his artworks and he was known to procrastinate badly and it made some people a bit annoyed. Although when they saw the finished product and how great it was they usually forgave him. The Last Supper is definitely one of the most well known artworks ever and it represents a lot and it shows a lot about Leonardo and what type of artworks he liked to create and make.
