Leonardo Da Vinci's Uprbringing
Leonardo Da Vinci was born on April 15, 1452 in Vinci, Italy. Leonardo was born as an illegitimate (parents weren’t married) child to Ser Piero (his father) and Caterina (his mother). He was homeschooled and did not have the best formal education and it was his dad who taught him the basics of reading, writing and other basics that you need to know. From an early age, Leonardo had an obsession with flight and he dearly wanted to create a machine that could fly but instead he made himself one of the most well known people in history. As a child it was also realised that Leonardo suffered from dyslexia but that let him have an amazing talent. The talent was being able to write backwards and this created a kind of mirror image although no – one really knows why he did it but it is well known that left-handed dyslexics have the ability to write backwards.
